The last couple of weeks as I travel to various dealers I have been involved with chicken fencing. This is chicken season and a lot of effort is being put into raising chickens and turkeys for meat as well as eggs. It is also getting close to predator season.

Predators soon learn that poultry is an easy meal once they leave the security of the chicken house. If you are raising or planning to raise a few birds, it is time to plan a fence that will protect your investment. Ask your dealer about using electric fence to protect your flock from predators before you loose them to bears, coyotes, fox or the neighbors dogs or cats.
